Admission reservation ticket

  • ■Admission to the museum is by advance reservation only.
     Visitors eligible for free admission must also make a reservation on this website.
  • ■Ticket sales schedule
     [From 10:00 on the first day of every month] From the 16th to the last day of the month
     [From 10:00 on the 15th of every month] From the 1st to the 15th of the following month
  • ■Visitors with babies and toddlers (age 0-2 years):
     There is a room in the museum that can be used exclusively by small children up to two years old and their guardians.
     To use this room, please make a reservation by clicking the blue button, which leads to a special page for visitors with babies and toddlers (age 0-2 years).


Weekday half-year passport【new purchase】

  • ・This is a half-year pass valid for use on weekdays only.
    ・Please note that the museum is closed on Thursdays and on other scheduled dates throughout the year (closed over the New Year's holidays and on special museum holidays).
     In addition to the above closed days, Please note that the museum may be closed on Wednesdays depending on the state of emergency.
    ・The pass will expire six months after the date of your first visit to the museum.

    [After purchasing a weekday passport]
    (1) Make a reservation on the date you plan to visit the museum (via the museum reservation ticket sales page).
    (2) On the day of your visit
    ・On the scheduled date of your visit, show your ID (with your name, address, and date of birth) at the museum reception counter.
    *If you are unable to make it to the museum on your scheduled visit date, please visit within one month from that date by making another reservation via the ticket sales page.

Requests to visitors

To protect against the COVID-19, the museum asks that any individuals who meet either of the following criteria to refrain from visiting museum:
*Your body temperature is higher than normal; you have a fever of 100 degrees F (37.5 degrees C) or higher; or you have cold symptoms such as cough, sneeze, and a runny nose.
*You are in poor physical condition.
*You have seen a doctor or taken medicine in the last 14 days because of a fever or other cold symptoms.
*You are a close contact of someone with COVID-19.
*You have travelled to any countries or regions on which the government has imposed restrictions on entry into Japan or any countries or regions for which the government requires people to submit to a period of observation after arrival in Japan, and/or have had close contact with any residents of such countries or regions.
Please sanitize your hands with alcohol disinfectant prior to checking in and periodically throughout your stay.
Visitors must wear masks at all times. Please inquire if you have special circumstances that make wearing a mask difficult.
Each exhibition room is limited to a certain number of visitors at a time. In case of congestion, please use the other rooms.
 

Delivery Method

  • Show Ticket QR Code

    手数料0円

    Present ticket QR code on smartphone screen or print out the ticket and present on the day of visit. Ticket QR code will be delivered at confirmation page and thank you mail.
    If you use the smartphone screen display, please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.
    If you print the ticket, please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Make sure that the entire ticket, such as the event name and ticket type, is printed correctly.
    Please present the QR code for the number of visitors. One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
  • Pickup at Outlet
    (Pickup at Seven Eleven Store in Japan)

    Available to pick up until 9PM two days after purchase date. Order will be voided after expiration.
    Procedure:
    (1)You will receive "Online Ticket Pick Up Voucher" after purchase.
    (2)Print the voucher out or note Voucher Number and bring it to Seven Eleven Store.
    (3)Ask cash register for issue ticket(s). After the payment of the Handling Fee your ticket(s) will be issued.
    Handling Fee:
    110 JPY per ticket(s)

About cancel

If you wish to cancel due to your circumstances, please complete the cancellation form below.
To change the date or time, cancel your ticket before purchasing a new one.
If you select "pay at a 7-Eleven store (cash on delivery)" as your payment method, you will be unable to request cancellation using the cancellation form.
Weekday half-year passport cannot be canceled after purchase.

  • Caution
    Cancellation requests will be accepted until 23:59 the day before the visit. Cancel request after the acceptance period cannot be accepted.
    Please ensure you can receive emails from "ticket.e-tix.jp@etix.com" "support@etix.com".
    There is no cancellation fee.
    Cancellation is applicable on each order level. If you order multiple tickets with one order, all tickets will be cancelled.
    Please note that cancelling the cancel request is not possible.
  • Cancellation procedure
    (1) Enter the "email address" used when applying for the numbered ticket and "order number" on the cancellation form.
    (2) "Self-Service refund confirmation" email will be sent. *The cancellation procedure has not been completed yet.
    (3) Open the URL delivered in the "Self-Service refund confirmation".
    (4) The order details to cancel will be displayed.
    (5) After confirming the details of the order, submit cancel.
    (6) Confirmation page will be displayed, the cancellation procedure is complete. "Cancel Confirmation" email will be sent.

Caution

  • Tickets cannot be changed after purchase.
    Please carefully review your ticket selection and billing information before submitting your order.
  • If the "Buy Tickets" button is not displayed for tickets eligible for purchase, please refresh the page or clear your browser’s cache (temporary internet files) and open the Online Tickets page again.
  • Please complete your purchase within 15 minutes from displaying the Review Your Selection page. Please note that after 15 minutes your session will time out and all tickets will be removed from your cart.
  • Please do not use multiple windows to process the purchase or click on your browser’s back button. It may not process correctly.
