Free admission, Discount eligibility, and Other notices
【About free admission】
The followings are entitled to free admission by presenting an eligible certificate or other proof of eligibility. Please read the admission information and notices below before visiting. ① Children under elementary school (should be accompanied by a guardian when entering the exhibitions).
② Holders of invitation tickets or invitations
③ Persons with a Physical Disability Certificate, Intellectual Disability Certificate, Intellectual Disability Welfare Certificate or Atomic Bomb Survivor Welfare Certificate as well as up to two attendants.
④ Holders of MOT Passport (up to fourth time admission to Special Exhibitions)
⑤ Museum visits for schools
⑥ Members of ICOM, AICA, and IAA
⑦ Those eligible for Silver Days
Those who are ⑦, please come to the museum ticket counter on the day of your visit to receive free admission tickets. For all others (①~⑥) , please come directly to the entrance of the exhibition galleries.
Free or discounted admission is available on the following dates.
【Students Day Supported by Bloomberg】
Students can view exhibitions for free by presenting a valid ID at the museum's ticket counter on February 21-23.
【Welcome Youth 2026】
Those aged 18 and under (born after April 2, 2007) can view all exhibitions for free between March 1 and April 5, 2026, by presenting a valid ID at the museum's ticket counter.
【Discount】
- If you are applying any discounts to purchase a ticket, please purchase at the museum’s ticket counter.
【Admission】
- Admission is only once for each exhibition per person. All tickets also include admission to the "MOT Collection Exhibition". *【Single Ticket】Sol LeWitt / 【Combined Ticket】: Ticket includes admission to the “MOT Collection Exhibition” (Admission period: Until April 2, 2026).
*【Single Ticket】mission∞infinity: Ticket includes admission to the “MOT Collection Exhibition” (Admission period: Until May 6, 2026). It will be closed from April 3 to 27 for installation and open from April 28 to May 6.
- Please present a QR code or ticket issued at Seven-Eleven at the entrance of the exhibition gallery.
