About Tickets

・No cancellations or changes can be made after the purchase.
・Date-specific ticket. Once inside, you can stay for the entire day. (Last admission : 5:30 p.m. * Temporary Evening Hours on March 7, 14, 21, 28, and 29, Last admission : 7:30 p.m.)
・There is no need for a reservation if you have an invitation, any of the various passport tickets, or you are eligible to enter for free.
・Please note that online ticket holders may also have to wait for admission depending on the congestion.
・Holders of MOT passport (from the fifth time admission to Special Exhibition) and those who use other discounts such as Grutto Pass, please purchase the same-day ticket at the ticket counter.
・You need to present an eligible certificate or other proof of eligibility to enter with any discount tickets such as student ID and proof of age.

Important Notice

An “Order Confirmation Email” will be sent after you complete your purchase. Please ensure you can receive emails from etix.com.
You can reserve up to four tickets at a time.
A ticket is valid for one person per ticket (or per QR code). You can view the MOT Collection exhibition with the single tickets for "Ryuichi Sakamoto".
Re-entry is not allowed.
Any purchases and actions for commercial purposes such as resale and transfer to third parties are prohibited. Admission with fraudulently obtained tickets is not permitted for whatever reason.
Please check the museum’s website for the latest information such as opening dates and hours before visiting.
Even after purchasing an online ticket, due to the large number of visitors, visitors may need to wait for entry. Online tickets do not allow visitors priority entrance.
The exhibition is especially crowded on afternoons during weekends and national holidays. We recommend visiting on a weekday before noon.
 

How to receive your ticket

Selected method cannot be changed after purchase.

  • Show Ticket QR Code

    Present ticket QR code on smartphone screen or print out the ticket and present on the day of visit. Ticket QR code will be delivered at confirmation page and thank you mail.
    If you use the smartphone screen display, please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.
    If you print the ticket, please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Make sure that the entire ticket, such as the event name and ticket type, is printed correctly.
    Please present the QR code for the number of visitors. One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.

  • Pickup at Seven Eleven Store in Japan

    Available to pick up until 9PM two days after purchase date. Order will be voided after expiration.
    Procedure:
    (1)You will receive "Online Ticket Pick Up Voucher" after purchase.
    (2)Print the voucher out or note Voucher Number and bring it to Seven Eleven Store.
    (3)Ask cash register for issue ticket(s). After the payment of the Handling Fee your ticket(s) will be issued.
    A ticket can't be issued at 7-Eleven after passing five days before the preferred date of visiting the museum.
    Handling Fee:
    150 JPY per ticket(s) + 220 JPY per order

  • Tickets cannot be canceled after purchase.
