About tickets

Admission using an online ticket is limited to the date specified on the ticket. Please arrive during museum hours on the specified date.
Online tickets are valid once per one ticket (or QR code) per person.
On the date you visit the museum, please show the original QR ticket or the QR ticket included in the email you received following ticket purchase.
For persons wishing to purchase student tickets, please bring the student ID and show it at the ticket window upon arrival.
This ticket also allows access to other collection exhibits going on at the same time.

[Admission + Experience] Sandblasting Experience　
Try sandblasting, which involves blasting sand onto glass, to create a one-of-a-kind glass piece!

[Sandblasting Experience]
This technique involves choosing the desired pattern and type of glass, and then blasting glass with sand (acts as a polishing material) to grind the glass into a frosted glass.
  • Experience time required: approx. 50 minutes
  • Sale period: From two months prior to 8:00am the same day
  • Reservations are for each hour and all dates and times are specified.
  • Experience time used:
    ①11:00am　②13:00pm　③14:00pm
    ④15:00pm　⑤16:00pm

  • Photos are representative images. Patterns and glass are chosen on the day of the experience.
  • Please arrive at the Sandblast Experience Workshop 5 minutes prior to your reservation time.
  • If 15 minutes elapses from the reserved date and time, you may not be able to participate in the experience. We ask for your understanding in advance. (In some cases, we will attempt to contact you via telephone.)
  • Small children may partake in the experience if accompanied by guardian.
  • Depending on weather conditions, museum hours may be changed or the museum may be closed for the day. Please check the Hakone Venetian Glass Museum official website for the latest information.

[Admission + Experience] Fusing Experience　
Try fusing to combine different glass parts and create a one-of-a-kind original accessory!

[Fusing Experience]
Fusing is a technique that involves applying heat to glass parts to combine them.
  • Experience time required: The customer experience is approx. 20 minutes. After the experience, approx. 70 minutes is required before the finished piece is ready to be handed over to the participant.
  • After the experience, the staff will fire and cool the glass and attach a metal clasp. Approx. 70 minutes is required for the completion of the piece made during the experience. After the experience, you may spend the time waiting for the completion of your piece by viewing other parts of the museum or exploring the museum grounds.
  • During busy periods, you may be asked to wait longer than 70 minutes. We also accept requests for home delivery (separate shipping charges apply) or you may pick up the piece at the museum entrance ticket counter at a later date.

Delivery Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the entrance counter.
A museum staff will be scanning your ticket QR code then you can enter the museum.

    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.

  • Print At Home

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.

About cancel

If you wish to cancel due to your circumstances, please complete the cancellation form below.

  • Caution
    Cancel request will be accepted until 8:00 a.m. (JST) on the day of your visit. Cancel request after the acceptance period cannot be accepted.
    Please ensure you can receive emails from "ticket.e-tix.jp@etix.com" "support@etix.com".
    There is no cancellation fee.
    Cancellation is applicable on each order level. If you order multiple tickets with one order, all tickets will be cancelled.
    Please note that cancelling the cancel request is not possible.
    If you cancel paid admission ticket, the ticket fees will be refunded through your credit card.
  • Cancellation procedure
    (1) Enter the "email address" used when applying for the numbered ticket and "order number" on the cancellation form.
    (2) "Self-Service refund confirmation" email will be sent. *The cancellation procedure has not been completed yet.
    (3) Open the URL delivered in the "Self-Service refund confirmation".
    (4) The order details to cancel will be displayed.
    (5) After confirming the details of the order, submit cancel.
    (6) Confirmation page will be displayed, the cancellation procedure is complete. "Cancel Confirmation" email will be sent.
