Each ticket admits one person. Valid for the specified date.
The group tickets will be applied in cases where admission fees are collectively paid for a group of 20 people or more who enter the museum at the same time. (Click here to purchase group tickets.)
Tickets for same-day admission also can be purchased from the vending machine at the museum entrance.
Not applicable with other discounts.
Unaccompanied elementary school children are not permitted entry to the museum. Please ensure that they are accompanied by someone of at least junior high school age or above.
You cannot cancel after you have made your purchase. Please carefully review your ticket selection and the billing information you have entered before submitting your order.
Tickets permit multiple re-entry throughout the day. Show the paper ticket we give you at the reception whenever you re-enter.
Entry fees are waived for the following people, so they are not required to purchase a ticket:
1, Licensed tour guide accompanying foreigners.
2, Tour conductor or travel attendant of a travel agency, etc.
3, People with mobility impairments or cognitive disabilities, as well as atomic bomb survivors (Please provide proof of disability, or bomb survivor designation upon arrival)
4, Aides in attendance of persons falling under the definition of item 3 (1 attendant per person).
5, Children younger than elementary school age

At 10:00 am (Japanese time) on the first day of every month, tickets for the next month will start to be sold.

Every Wednesday (Closed the next day if it is a national holiday), during the New Year's holiday and maintenance periods.

Delivery Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the entrance.
A museum staff will scan your ticket QRcode and admit you entrance to the museum.

  • Show Ticket on Smartphone

    Show the ticket QRcode on the confirmation page after purchase or use the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.

  • Print at Home

    Print out the ticket from the confirmation page after purchase or print it out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print the ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.
