Yokohama Archives of History - Online Ticketing

  • Online timed ticketing is in effect at the Archives.
  • To purchase your timed ticket for Thematic Exhibition which includes access to Permanent Exhibition, reserve a date and time of your visit on this website.
  • If you already have a complimentary/discount ticket of the Archives, you still need to make a reservation by selecting gSpecified date/time admission ticketh for free/discount admission.
    Present your complimentary/discount ticket at the ticketing counter on the day of your visit, otherwise purchase a same-day timed ticket available at the ticketing counter.
  • Same-day timed tickets may be purchased at the ticketing counter only when timeslots of the day are not sold out.
  • If you are planning a group visit of 20 people or more, please contact us by phone at least two weeks prior to your visit i045-201-2100j.
  • Tickets cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded after purchase.

Adults: 200 yen; elementary and junior high school students: 100 yen; residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above: 100 yen.

*Residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above will be asked to show ID (e.g., Hamatomo Card) to get a discount upon entry.
*Please note that holders of Hamatomo Card will be admitted free on the second Wednesday of every month.
*Students (elementary to senior high school) are admitted free on Saturdays.
*School visits (elementary to senior high schools within the City of Yokohama) may be admitted free or with discounts. Please contact us by phone in advance (045-201-2100).
*Visitors with disabilities, and a care partner are admitted free. You will be asked to show your certificate upon arrival at the ticketing counter.

Please note

Before making reservations, please ensure your device can receive gorder confirmation emailh from etix.com.
Your ticket (one QR code per ticket) allows one person to enter on the specified date for the allotted timeslot (No reentry allowed).
Please limit your stay within one hour.
Avoid arriving before your timed-entry hour. We have no waiting space available.
Please arrive within your allotted timeslot.
We may ask you to wait a little longer if the start of each timeslot gets crowded.
You can only enter the Archives on the date and time allotted to your timed ticket.
Ticket resale for profit is prohibited.
The maximum number of timed tickets available per person each time is 10.

Visitor Guidelines

If you feel unwell, or have travelled to countries and areas with ongoing transmission of Covid-19 in the past two weeks, please do not come to the Archives.
All visitors are subject to a temperature screening, and must use alcohol-based hand sanitizer upon entry. If you have a fever of 37.5 or higher, we will ask you not to enter.
Wear a mask throughout your stay.
To maintain physical distancing, keep at least 2 meters from others, and keep conversation to minimum.
Do not touch objects on display, showcases and other equipment.
 

Delivery Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the entrance.
A museum staff will be scanning your ticket barcode then you can enter the museum.

    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.

  • Print At Home

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.

  • You cannot cancel after you have made your purchase.
    Please review carefully your ticket selection and billing information entered before submitting your order.
  • If the "Buy Tickets" button is not displayed after the on-sale period start time, please refresh the page or clear your browserfs cache (temporary Internet file) and open the Online Tickets page again.
  • Please complete your purchase within 15 minutes from displaying the Review Your Selection page. Please note that after 15 minutes your purchase will time-out and selected tickets will go back to inventory.
